About Us

Old Fashion Standards... Innovative Approach

We are a dedicated team of experienced and caring professionals who provide the highest quality of service for people in need of mitigation and restoration after a commercial or residential loss. Helping family and business owners get through the heartaches and headaches associated with all types of disasters is why MB2 was formed. We recognized that there was a hole in the mitigation/restoration industry—a hole filled with empty promises, inexperience, and confusion. Simply put, MB2 fills the hole with honesty, expertise, and clarity…all, I might add, wrapped in kindness and professionalism. You deserve a specialized and seasoned company, one that truly takes care of you during your time of need.

Best Always,

Mike Brown (President)

I’m not sure if there were one or two holes in the floorboard of my dad’s work truck, but I know it was cold and that I was shivering. Without me asking, he shared his coat, keeping me warm on the way home from a long day.

My dad was a builder of beautiful custom homes, and as a young boy in grammar school, I would spend time with him on nights and weekends, helping him with whatever was needed on site. He was the most selfless and hard-working man I have ever known, and he instilled in me a strong sense of customer loyalty along with a meticulous work ethic.

Memories such as this are what drives me, and this is why MB2, named after my son, Michael Brown Jr., has a strong and lasting presence in the building and management industry.

After college, Michael Brown worked at Kiewit and Servpro. In 1997, along with a friend, he created Insurcomm, a leading mitigation company. Having sold his shares in 2019, Michael began MB2, a company where the old fashion standards of his father’s generation—most notably trustworthiness, attentiveness, and benevolence—drive an innovative and team-centered approach to building and managing.

Ronny Martenson (VP)

Because I’ve been knocked down by life a few times, I know the value and the beauty of family and friends. I learned at an early age that loyalty and honesty are paramount to a life well lived, and my MB2 family” reinforces such values.

It’s a little funny around here in that there’s an intriguing line that touches our MB2 employees, a line built on generations of hard work. Many of us have grandparents that worked in the construction and restoration business that knew one another. It’s been nice discovering those deep connections, and we look forward to continuing the line!

Ronny met Mike in 1995. He was swinging a hammer and Mike was ripping walls out, and the two bonded instantly. Soon after, Ronny worked for Mike at Insurcomm for ten-years. His work and his family are his passion, and you will often find Ronny giving back to his community in significant ways. To help people when they are at their lowest point—to put a smile on their faces when they feel devastated—is what inspires Ronny.

DJ Haskins (Operations)

While working as an executive for a private equity owned software company, where building a solid foundation for growth and eventual acquisition was the overriding objective, I took a drive with Mike one sunny day at his suggestion.  We  both had kids in a basketball league, and we had a scheduled coaches meeting.

By the time the ride there and back was over—a ride where Mike talked about MB2 Restore and the lasting legacy of honesty and respect he wished to create—I was swept away from the harshness of the grow-it-and-sell-it mentality of business and was ready and excited  to join his team.

Having been a long-time volunteer for his town’s recreation department, DJ is a sports enthusiast and an advocate for giving back to his local community—a trait he learned from his mother and father throughout his childhood. DJ lives with his wife, Jessica, and two daughters, Mackenzie and Ella, in Greenland. When not working, one may find him coaching, lining a field, running the scoreboard, or walking his beloved dogs.

Briana Rizzotti (Finance)

Although numbers are my passion, family is everything to me. Growing up, I was constantly reminded of my great-grandmother’s home on top of the hill in Amesbury that would later, under new ownership, become what is now Cider Hill Farm. My grandparents had built a home nearby where my mother and her siblings were raised. From baking to babysitting, my grandmother and grandfather were always there for me—always caring and always helping. My parents now do the same for me and my family, and I know that I will do the same for my children.

What drew me to MB2 Restore was the immediate sense that Mike is all about the people—those he hires and those he serves. Like my grandparents and parents, he cares and he helps and he wants his team to feel supported and to be successful.

Having developed her love of math from her father, a machinist by trade, Briana has thoroughly enjoyed years of work in the tax and bookkeeping industry. Currently, she resides with her husband and two daughters in Kingston where her next door neighbors—yes, her parents—continue the tradition of fostering close and loving family connections.

Woody Husted (Marketing & Events)

Much of who I am, I owe to my wife…her spirit has helped me become a person who sees the good in people and a person who always gives my very best to others. In her loving memory, I continue to treat my business relationships as though they are my family and friends.

Although I have been fortunate throughout my life to have worked alongside many wonderful people, here at MB2 Restore I have found a home and a group of people who value the human side of business above all else.

After decades working in graphics, which is where Woody and Mike struck up a friendship, the two realized they shared the same values of generosity, graciousness, compassion and a match was made. Outside of work, Woody is a musician and has played in rock bands in New Mexico, Arizona, and Los Angeles. He is also a dedicated father of two sons and one daughter.

Brian Martin (Project Manager)

My brother said it best: we’re eternally grateful to our grandparents for having raised us and having given us such wonderful examples to live up to!

They would be proud to know that we work for a tight-knit company where honesty, kindness, and hard work are valued and where the customer, above all else, is cared for. I like to say that we might be smaller as a company, but we move quickly and smoothly and we have a profound sense of experience and expertise.

Decades back, Brian worked  in the concrete/foundation business. It was there where he met Mike Brown and it was there where the two formed a strong and lasting friendship and working relationship. As part of the MB2 team, Brian spent time in Fort Myers after Hurricane Ian’s 170-mile hour winds devastated the lives of so many Floridians. When it comes to relaxing, Brian can be found playing golf, or simply taking in the stunning beauty of New Hampshire’s beaches and mountains.

Brad Martin (Project Manager)

I’m grateful for my grandparents who raised me and my brother here in New Hampshire. They showed us and taught us that by having a solid work ethic, and by showing respect and kindness to everybody, our lives would be filled with happiness.

It’s nice to be a part of a company that shares in these principles, and I love the work that we do! When you call on us during your time of need, you get a dedicated and knowledgeable team who is very reliable and always thoughtful.

Having worked for the Overhead Door Company for fifteen-years, Brad kept hearing over-and-over from his twin brother, Brian, that he should come work with Mike. In late 2022, Brad joined MB2 Restore and notes that he’s never been professionally happier. In his down time, Brad takes care of his family and a flock of animals, including chickens, ducks, goats, geese, and, coming soon, a donkey.

Mike Shupe (Project Manager)

Growing up on the seacoast of New Hampshire, my parents and siblings taught me the importance of hard work, community, family, and integrity—values I’ve carried throughout my life. After more than 20 years as a New Hampshire State Trooper, I’m grateful to now be working with a team that shares those same values, while still being able to  help people.

At MB2 Restore, Mike brings the same commitment he demonstrated throughout his law enforcement career, ensuring that every client receives dependable and respectful service. A dedicated family man, Mike is the proud father of three and enjoys cooking, golfing, and fishing with his wife and kids.
